Regenerating the Peak District

High Edge Wildland is a 26 acre upland site in the Peak District, just south of the popular spa town of Buxton, which is now being regenerated into a wilder and more nature friendly space.

The site has a fantastic variety of habitats including calcareous grasslands, woodlands, wetlands and rare limestone pavements, alongside stunning views down the Hollinsclough valley towards Chrome Hill.

We're now working hard to increase the biodiversity on the site with a collection of important habitats that will support a broad range of flora and fauna.
